Supercharged03

I've used Denso IK-22 Iridium spark plugs in my 03 v6 Tundra since I had the supercharger installed at 3300 miles. I installed a second set at 105000 miles.
For the past few months, I've been tolerating a poorly running truck with an intermittent CEL warning of a bad throttle position sensor, misfire in one cylinder, and a couple of other codes I cannot recall at the moment. In November, I purchased and installed a new throttle body since the sensor is not available separately. The intermittent CEL disappeared, but the occasional misfire (under low RPM acceleration or hard acceleration) remained.
Yesterday, I installed three new ignition coils, spark plug cables and plugs. While removing the old plugs, I was amazed to find two of the six plugs with the iridium tip completely eroded away (photograph attached), particularly since this set of plugs has only 40000 miles on them.
Needless to say, my truck runs like its old self again, but I wonder - did the erosion of the plugs cause the misfire or was the erosion caused by the bad throttle position sensor?
