I have a 2008 Pre-Runner and was wondering if it is possible for me to put in one of those clutchless start switches or do I have to take it to the dealer. Also where is a good place to buy real Toyota parts.

I thought that all tacomas equiped with the stick shift came with the clutch start switch? If that is not the case it should be very easy to put one in.

You already have a switch if it is like my old Isuzu Trooper. When you depress your clutch for start up there should be switch that gets depressed and viola you can crank the engine. That would be a place to start with your project I would imagine. I by passed the Trooper's because of problems at -20F or loser caused the carpet and the carpet bed to freeze and make getting the clutch to depress enough to engage the switch a *****.
