Sounds like the front DS recall -- shouldn't affect 2WD trucks. So they are stopping 2WD sales too, or just 4x4 trucks?

I traded yesterday for a 2010 tacoma double cab pre-runner. Its the only one they had in black, they had 5 4x4's setting on the lot in black. I guess I know why now.
The dealer said business has been good as they sold 40 units over the weekend.
They are dealing right now if anyone is in the market. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the engine,and full drive train. Bumper to Bumper with the exception, for tires,brake pads, and wiper blades for 100,000 miles. I traded in an 07 Tundra Double Cab.
It had 58,000 miles. Just tired of wondering about each time I went out would it start.
I have been loyal to toyota since 1977 since our first Celica. Just sold this year a 91 ext cab 4x4 that had 225k miles and still ran like a top. More dependable than my 07 Tundra.
I know Toyota will overcome the quality issues.
I still think they build the best vehicle available.
