The Putco Premium Interior Dome LED's look like an worthwhile upgrade in technology.

The problem is that I have a 2006 SR5 with no sunroof. The specs say vehicle specific, so I called their "customer support" and basically was told if it says 2008 W/ sunroof then it won't work.

I really would like to have a set of these, but I am curious how "specific" or custom they really are. Anyone buy a set yet and tried them and know if they truly won't fit anything without a sunroof? Or if the dome lights in a 2006 4Runner are the same as the Tacoma or other model?
