I just put Moto Metal 20 inch wheels on my 2010 Tundra....The lug nuts only went on 6 full turns and they were tight. I though that didnt feel like it was enough to hold the wheels on. Any body know??

old rule use to be you have to have a few threads showing past the bolt. years ago when i put mag rims on my car i had to get deeper lug bolts. last thing you want is to loose a wheel, or strip a thread/break a stud trying to get it tight

Invest in a torque wrench.

97 ft lbs or whatever the wheel manufacturer recommends with their lug nuts. Though I'm not sure why you posted this in the Tacoma forum when there's a Tundra forum.
