I just picked a set of blistien from strut assembles and want to know if it matters which side is which? If it does matter how can you tell. Thanks

one is meant for driver's side. its a little longer spring...i'm thinking you can count the number of coils...should be maybe a 1/2 or 1 extra on driver's side. they use a higher spring rate to compensate for the "taco lean" created by driver's, transfer case's and gas tanks additional weight on driver's side.

they use a paint code at the factory...cannot remember what color is which though.

I don't come up with extra coil count from one spring to another. They apear to be the same size the only thing I can see is a set of markings. One spring has 4 yellow paint marks and the other has 2 green and 2 yellow ones..
