Just joined the group and looking for some hand holding to help me understand operation of the transmission on my recently purchased 4Runner. Also own an '87 Toyota PU 4X4 but the multiple functions of the 4R's system have me baffled and I'm also concerned I may have an issue with the DAC function. Would appreciate contact

BTW, have tried in vain to find information using Search. Also find the owners manual difficult to follow.

The V8s are full time 4wd. You can lock the center diff which will constantly distribute power front and back. The DAC works when you are in 4Lo.
