I have a replacement k&n filter and think that this is enought so can i get rid of that second and how and also if I remove it will it cause any other problems (besides MAYBE dirt getting threw) Any info is great Thanks:tu: Splicer 08-16-2010, 05:32 PM If you search for "secondary air filter" you'll find a handful of threads. Apparently it's a charcoal filter, part of the emissions control system. Depending on who you believe, removing it will either gain some power... or not. And someone posted that if you remove it, you cannot replace it.
