: The "I Saw You Today" Thread (SoCal) delrmx01 09-03-2010, 10:01 AM A forum that I use to frequent for my Mazda RX8 had the same thread. I figured why not start the same. Maybe this will give us the opportunity to meet other TS'ers.
I'll start. Saw a 2nd gen white Tundra (SR5) with 20 inch black rims with Nitto Grapplers and a leveling kit at the Starbucks in the corner of Topanga Canyon and Lassen. Nice truck ! tundrunk 09-05-2010, 06:46 PM This is a cool idea. I think I saw Remmy once in our home town, was not confirmed. ogtoyfan 09-05-2010, 07:08 PM Cool I seen both you guys on this thread. haha delrmx01 09-08-2010, 01:23 PM ^^ HAHA.. I guess there aren't many TS'ers around the area. tundrunk 09-09-2010, 09:18 PM I ran across a guy from socal tundras not too long ago. I don't know his name though. SD_Topher 09-10-2010, 10:42 AM Any one in SD Remmy700P 09-10-2010, 01:53 PM This is a cool idea. I think I saw Remmy once in our home town, was not confirmed.
That's 'cause I'm like a ghost... :spy: tundrunk 09-10-2010, 05:13 PM That's 'cause I'm like a ghost... :spy:
You leave town pretty often, but you are likely to catch me running around, I put so much drive time on my truck. toolowtrh 09-10-2010, 10:01 PM Earlier this year I listed my TRD wheels on craigslist in San Diego. I got an email from a guy wanting to buy them. When we met up, we started shooting the sh!t for a bit. I learned that he is a member here and works with a friend of mine. It is a small world!! stitch_sack 09-15-2010, 01:59 AM I live in a small town and there is a Toyota dealer here so about 50% of the trucks in town are tundra's. Hard to do something different than the next guy. tundrunk 09-15-2010, 09:08 PM ^ I feel that. It's only easy to notice who it is if they have distinct mods. I have seen a few members here at a show, but that doesn't count. tundrajunkie 09-18-2010, 08:21 PM I have seen a few tundra owners from the site. Im in Mission Viejo socal57chevy 10-12-2010, 10:18 PM Any one in SD
I work in PB, but live in Vista.
I bought some wheels from a guy on craigslist. I recognized his tundra as soon as I saw it. (Blue supercharged RCSB with black wheels)
Hey Gutz, where are you?
One of the other tundra forums had a picture thread. Post pics of the tundras you find, then see if anyone claims them.
I think I still have some from around San Diego county.
Anybody belong to these? tundrunk 12-19-2010, 11:14 AM I officially saw Remmy yesterday. First I saw the front bra and thought is it....:confuseda: then I noticed the tires and when I passed by I noticed the tool box. Yup, Remmy sighting, 3:59pm, driving in the rain. :nods: Remmy700P 12-19-2010, 01:36 PM I officially saw Remmy yesterday. I WAS out yesterday at that time. Where did you spot me? tundrunk 12-19-2010, 08:04 PM You just pulled onto Central ave. You were headed towards the Central/Arlington/Allessandro intersection. I was headed to the freeway. Remmy700P 12-19-2010, 09:31 PM You just pulled onto Central ave. You were headed towards the Central/Arlington/Allessandro intersection. I was headed to the freeway.
That was me. I was just leaving my neighborhood headed to the folks' to drop off stuff and then to O'Reilly's (Magnolia/Jurupa) to dump my used oil. You should have honked! Remmy700P 12-19-2010, 09:56 PM << continued from OT forum >>
Yeah. RPD motors typically work the school zone, but the S-curves (where I live) have a significantly higher accident rate. Traffic engineering is working on a new survey on the westbound section of Alessandro between Canyon Crest and Chicago. That's why the radar signs were installed and our motors are no longer working the downhill at the fire station.
Did you notice the new "No Jake Brake" sign? tundrunk 12-21-2010, 05:26 PM I haven't seen the jake brake sign yet. I wondered why they put in those signs, but their placement makes sense. Slow down before the curves. Lots of schools right there, it's nice to see some safety measures. I would have honked, but I really didn't realize it was you until I was passed you. I take it you live near Tavalogne? Nice quiet area, I always liked those houses. Lots of big trees. Remmy700P 12-21-2010, 11:07 PM ...I take it you live near Tavalogne? Yep. My neighborhood. I look out on Alessandro across the street from my front yard. Marauder 01-11-2011, 12:53 PM I have seen a few tundra owners from the site. Im in Mission Viejo
Maybe you've seen me? Just moved to Mission Viejo in March.
I think I have seen a couple of guys on the 405 or 5 on my commute as well. MSGT-R 09-04-2011, 09:44 PM You could go nuts trying to identify Toyota trucks in SoCal.. you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Toyota truck in SoCal!
I commute up and down the I-15 between Elsinore and San Diego.
2010 Silver 4x4 double cab Taco with stainless boards and a bed lid. Marine Corps sticker in the back driver window. I probably look like 10,000 others. ;) davidnano 09-25-2011, 09:05 AM Just saw a 07-08 crew max with a nice lift, prob 6-8 onch lift getting gas on roscoe and the 405..... any one??? kinda early too. 7:20ish.... oh oh and had KMC monsters.... i think thats what they're called. tundrunk 09-25-2011, 11:29 AM I've seen lots of clean tundras around here, but I don't think they are members. You might see me around sherman oaks, I'm around that area sometimes. socal57chevy 09-28-2011, 08:43 PM So......
...who owns the white "Temecula Motorsports" Tundra??
Saw you tonight in Temecula on the 15 South of Winchester. MSGT-R 09-30-2011, 06:35 AM Mmmm... Temecula Motorsports? If it isn't the owner it's one of the employees. Winchester is their closest exit. 9rider 10-06-2011, 04:20 PM Saw one DC Tundra with 24" chrome , gray blue on Main st, Bishop, CA. |
