I'll start. Saw a 2nd gen white Tundra (SR5) with 20 inch black rims with Nitto Grapplers and a leveling kit at the Starbucks in the corner of Topanga Canyon and Lassen. Nice truck !

You leave town pretty often, but you are likely to catch me running around, I put so much drive time on my truck.

Earlier this year I listed my TRD wheels on craigslist in San Diego. I got an email from a guy wanting to buy them. When we met up, we started shooting the sh!t for a bit. I learned that he is a member here and works with a friend of mine. It is a small world!!

I live in a small town and there is a Toyota dealer here so about 50% of the trucks in town are tundra's. Hard to do something different than the next guy.

^ I feel that. It's only easy to notice who it is if they have distinct mods. I have seen a few members here at a show, but that doesn't count.

I bought some wheels from a guy on craigslist. I recognized his tundra as soon as I saw it. (Blue supercharged RCSB with black wheels)

Yeah. RPD motors typically work the school zone, but the S-curves (where I live) have a significantly higher accident rate. Traffic engineering is working on a new survey on the westbound section of Alessandro between Canyon Crest and Chicago. That's why the radar signs were installed and our motors are no longer working the downhill at the fire station.

Did you notice the new "No Jake Brake" sign?

I haven't seen the jake brake sign yet. I wondered why they put in those signs, but their placement makes sense. Slow down before the curves. Lots of schools right there, it's nice to see some safety measures. I would have honked, but I really didn't realize it was you until I was passed you. I take it you live near Tavalogne? I think I have seen a couple of guys on the 405 or 5 on my commute as well.

You could go nuts trying to identify Toyota trucks in SoCal.. you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Toyota truck in SoCal! :rolleyes:

Just saw a 07-08 crew max with a nice lift, prob 6-8 onch lift getting gas on roscoe and the 405..... any one??? kinda early too. 7:20ish.... oh oh and had KMC monsters.... i think thats what they're called.

I've seen lots of clean tundras around here, but I don't think they are members. You might see me around sherman oaks, I'm around that area sometimes.
