I've been reading alot in this forum about the various tonneau covers and I'm looking for more information on which tonneau covers are the most durable. Specifically, I've looked at the BakflipG2, Extang Solid Fold, and the Pace Edwards Full Metal Jacket. The Pace is about double the cost of the Extang or Bakflip - is it that much more durable? All of these covers look fabulous brand new.
I'm not worried if the cover isn't 100% water proof but I certainly don't want things getting soaked in the back either. Durability and utility are my key decision factors. I like either the folding or retractable concept and I want a hard cover. I have a 2010 Double Cab Tundra with the 6.5 ft box, and I have the bed rails which came as part of the TRD Off Road package.
Dealers - which models do you hear the least complaints on?
Not really looking for feedback from those with less than a year of experience with the cover.
Thanks in advance for any feedback

We have been selling Bak Tonneau Covers (http://www.tonneaucoversworld.com/bak-tonneau-covers.aspx) since 2002. Bak makes an excellent cover and have done a great job at fixing any issues with their covers, and continue to do so. I would say less than 1% of our customers who purchase a Bak cover from us ever have less than a positive review. A co-worker here at the office has had a Bak RollBak Retractable Tonneau Cover (http://www.tonneaucoversworld.com/bak-rollbak-g-2.aspx) on his Silverado for about 5 years now and it still looks great and works just as smooth as it did the first day he installed it! The BakFlip (http://www.tonneaucoversworld.com/bak-tonneau-covers.aspx) lines are our best sellers, if your looking for durability and usability, this is the best cover on the market. You can fold ALL of the panels up out of the way, most folding covers only allow access to 2/3 of your bed unless you remove the entire cover, the BakFlip allows FULL access to your bed. Bak is also the only cover that sits inside the bed rails for a super low profile. The only downside of any of the Bak Covers, is that is uses your Utilitrac to mount, rendering it unusable.
The Extang Solid Fold (http://www.tonneaucoversworld.com/extang-solid-fold.aspx) is also a great tonenau cover. The Extang Solid Fold is EXTREMELY easy to install, you can install this cover in under 5 minutes! The entire cover is just ONE piece, you simply set it on top of the bed rails of your truck and tighten down the rear clamps, fold the cover down and your done! Thats as easy as it gets, however the Solid Fold does not sit inside the bed rails like the Bak Covers do for the super slim profile and you cannot fold the last remaining panel, which will only leave you access to 2/3 of your bed. The Extang Solid Fold still uses your Utilitrac system to mount, however you still have limited access to utilize the system.
If you decide to purchase any one of these covers, make sure to shoot us a PM, we will beat any competitors price. Hope this helps!
If you havent already watched some videos on how these covers work, I have listed a couple for you to check out!

Bakflip is by far the better product, from ease of use to looks to oem guaranteed durability. This is a no brainer!

Extang Tri Fold Solid.
I have had mine for 4 months now, drove across country through some serious winds (Columbia Gorge) and heavy T-storms (Mid west). No leaks and it has definitely help with gas mileage:tu:.
Only thing I have not been through is snow. Things to consider: during freezing temps, lockable covers may be difficult to access if your lock is frozen (been there).
Good Luck
