just bought a 06 tundra 2wd and thinkin hard bout putting the ruff country 4.5" lift. ruff country's website says ill then be able to clear 33's. is this true? the truck already has 20" rims that are prob 8.5"wide. didnt measure so not sure but guessing.

what size tire do i need to get? i know hardly nothing bout this so all the help i can get is appreciated. thank u and if i left something out let me know, ill report back

Well with a 2.5-3" lift you can clear a 285/75R16 which is just under a full 33" tire. So with a 4.5" lift you can probably clear the 33s fine. Have you looked at the RCD kit? Uses new Bilstein 5100s as part of the kit.

yeah i believe the rcd kit is alot more expensive. thats y im going with the tuff country. im worried about the 8.5 in wide rim. im not sure what tire size is a 33. for instance 305/55/r20 i dont know if thats smaller or bigger than what everyone refers to as 33. also i see some tires are 11 inches wide. is the 8.5in wide rim not wide enough or will it be ok? any help?
