04 4.7 1gen tundra trd sport 85k.
Runs smooth, starts quick, plenty of power.
No knocking, no smoke, no other noises, no codes.

I started getting a nasty rattle at 4500RPM, mostly at 5000RPM and up to redline.
It would only happen about a 6th of the time, and sounded like it was coming from the valves on the drivers side or the throttle body.

It sounded like it was something coming loose, and it was getting worse.

I've been checking everything I could put my hands on. It kinda sounded like a heatshield, but they are all snug.

I just started putting a wrench on everything to see if it was snug.

The bolts on the drivers side valve cover were not tight at all.
I could undo two of the front most bolts with my fingers!

I snugged them all up(not hard) and the rattle seems to be gone.

My question is, what do I tighten up the valve cover bolts to?

53 in/lbs. It's not very much. Be careful.

I also swear that my oil pressure it a little higher...
