I want to purchase an 06 Tacoma V6 4x4 but need advice. It has 30k mi looks great, but has no service records. It has been driven on primarily dirt roads.....I am no mechanic! What should I be most concerned about..Brakes? motor noise? What questions should I ask? Would it be ok to ask if I can have it professionally inspected? Any answers would be appreciated.

If it's been driven mainly on dirt roads, I would be leery about it. My cousins are farmers and the majority of their driving is on gravel roads and it tears the crap out of their trucks. The suspension gets a lot of wear and there are a lot of rattles in their trucks because of it. They have anything from Chevy 2500 duramax, to chevy 1500, Ram 3500 Cummins, and a Ford F-150. They all have taken a beating. It depends on how it was driven, but those could be some pretty hard miles that were put on it.
