Folks,

I have been searching for the answer to why these lights came on. I have read hear that a lot of people fixed it by reconnecting the hose near the air filter box. Unfortunatly all of those were with 6Cyl highlanders. I checked and don't see this hose? I'm wondering if since I havea 4cyl it's in a different spot? Does anyone have a picture or scematic that shows the 4cyl fix for this issue?

No, the 4cyl airbox doesn't have a hose connecting to it. My best guess would be the gas cap isn't on tight enough, but you'd really have to get the code read to know why it's on. Many auto parts stores (advance auto, autozone, pep boys) will read them for free.

You really need to know the code before you can come up with a fix. Plenty of auto parts stores will check codes for free.
