A leaf broke on my right spring. I also carry around equipment often. I have an 02 access cab. 2 wheel drive,do not have offroad package. I dont know if it relevent but I maybe lowering the truck.

I see 3 different options to fix it which I think will cost about $200

A. A used right leaf spring and a pair of helper springs.

B. Used left and right tundra leaf springs that are stiffer, if they exist.

C. A pair of airbags.

Which option would you recommend?

First you have to replace the leaf. I would then add airbags or roadmasters

Are roadmasters helper springs?

Is it possible to use airbags and run the springs with one less leaf? I think airbags would more than make up the difference in load. The second leaf from the bottom split in the middle and the front half came loose. Its the one over the little leaf.

A spring shop can replace the bad leaf. They can also give you more/stronger leaves if you desire.
Roadmasters are helper springs that also work as sway control. Best to check them out on youtube

First time I've heard of Roadmasters. From the videos, looks like a cool product, but does anyone have any experience with them on a Tundra?
