I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup 2WD with 147k miles on it that I purchased for 1200.00. Runs great, goes down the road great, automatic extended cab.

I've looked online and been unable to find a simple 2-4inch lift kit for the truck. Eventually I'd like to run slightly larger tires, a helper spring in the rear...etc to tow/haul a bit more around town.

Are there any options out there for an automatic? Or is it not worth doing?

Thanks!

Call these guys but ask lots of questions then ask a lot more especially on installation of stuff because you can buy stuff but have to pull the engine or transmission to do the modification and no one will tell you this type of stuff until you get the part and are trying to figure how to mod it and have to end up doing a lotta work that you had no idea you were going to have to do!

My opinion is that it's not worth doing. I understand these trucks call for a premium price, but why not search for a 4x4?

You are probably correct.

I'm in the process of searching for a 4x4.

You can add a leaf in the back for more hauling capacity. There is Ball Joint spacers avliable for the front torrion bar suspension on the 2WD's!
