just did the bilstien , aal thing on 06 dc. This will be first time slapping the hitch on the truck. since the truck is higher up i am guessing the hitch has to be lower. the hitch I had been using came off my old explorer and it already seemed like it was a bad angle now I'm thinking it will be worse. Is there a certain height the hitch should sit at? thanks you in advance

The trailer should be level when hooked up. Slightly nose down is acceptable. Nose high can be bad, especially with a trailer that doesn't have enough hitch weight to make it stable. The nose high aspect shifts the center of gravity of the trailer slightly aft which results in a bouncy hitch.
