Hello all,
I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if I'm doing this wrong.
I have a 2005 double cab 4x4 Tundra. There was ice on the drivers-side front window. When I used a scraper to remove the ice I hit the window sill and broke it. Rubber must have become brittle from extreme cold. Now there is an opening between the sill and window that runs half the distance of the window. I have purchased a new outside front drivers-side sill but have no idea how to replace it. My DIY repair book doesn't even show it. Looks like the drivers-side mirror has to come off as the sill runs under it. I would appreciate any help or a link to this if someone else has already posted it. Hoping to do this myself, but will take it to Toyota if needed. THANKS!
