:DI recently purchased a 2007 Tacoma TRD Access and separately a light weight Flip Pac (brand) fold out expanding tent top over the cab. These systems seem to be the perfect match for a light weight camper that can easily be accommodated by the 6 cyl engine while not losing gas economy. My issues are: How can this type, or any camper shell, be safely attached to the bed, hopefully allowing for ease of removal when not desired, without drilling holes into the composite bed using the sliding rail system provided by toyota; and, can one drill safely without damaging the integrity into floor front of bed to allow moisture drainage that may collect inside; and, since this camper shell came off a Ford Ranger, which has about a 2" shorter bed, how can I expand forward the bottom of the Flip Pac camper frame to stop rain/moisture entry? The Flip Pac mfr appears helpful but slow and somewhat reluctant. :) Thanks for the time and help!
