I have read several threads about people wanting lighter weight wheels. Recentely a member sold some Platinum wheels that weighed in at 83 pounds a piece. Then there are others looking for rims that weigh around 20 pounds (not sure total weight with tire).

My questions are:
Are the Platinum wheels really heavy or average?
The Rock Warrior wheels are tiny rims but have a ton of Tire, how much do those wheels weigh?

I read the thread about Lightweight wheels and their advantages. Is there a huge difference performance wise and MPG wise? (Do not want to start a MPG thread here)
