New guy here to the forum and just wanted to say hello.
Just sold my Superduty and bought a 2011 Tundra Crewmax SR5. So I stopped by my local 4x4 shop to order leveling kit, tires and wheels. After searching here I found that I wanted Ready Lift SST 3/2 and a set of Ultra Grinder 18x9 (+25 offset) with 305-65-18 BFG AT's.
Salesman says both the wheels and tires are on backorder for 90 days but the lift is available and would be here in 5-7 days. So I ended ordering XD Monsters 18x9 with 325-60-18 Nitto Grapplers. My problem is that the tires (13 wide) along with the +18 offset is gonna stick out beyond wheelwell 2 inches or so. I know alot of guys here like the look but I'm not a fan of it. So my question is can I go to a XD Monster 18x9 +35 and a 295-70-18 Nitto? Any issues other than the small plastic front and skid plate? On top of that, I just got a call from the salesman that now..... the ReadyLift SST 3/2 is on back order and he recommends Zone Off Road 3/2? He said that they are the same as BDS but I never heard of them? Any help would be appreciated. BTW, tires and wheels have been sitting at the shop unmounted, the dealer should be able to exchange them for my new sizes right?
