i purchased fog lights for my 2009 tacoma to go into the stock spots because the model i have did not come with fogs. anyway, the wiring is easy to do but the only trouble that i am having is getting the black insert out of where the fog lights go.

does anyone know how to do this?

If I remember correctly you just get under the truck and squeeze the black insert while pushing it out

Insert the relay back into its fog light slot. Maneuver the bent pin in such a way that it won't come loose when driving. Now insert the fuse into the horn slot with the two fuses inserted. Now, just make sure you always remember to shut your fog lights off because they won't go off by themselves anymore.

okay i have it completely wired up and installed. however, the lights will not go on. the switch lights up in the "on" position and you can hear it turn on but the lights do not light up.

any suggestions?

if you can use a volt meter?

start off at the fog light... do you have 12 volts
do you have a good ground

one of those two is missing
so just start with the wiring and follow it back
don't have the wiring diagram handy, sorry
