I'm looking at 07 Limited Tundra with tan interior, to replace my leased 07 Tundra with black interior.

Can anyone with a tan interior advise me how hard it is to keep the carpets and mats clean? With the black interior all I have to do is vaccuum. I'm sure there might be(?) some stains on the mats and carpets, but they are black so they hide any stains that might be there.

With tan, how hard is it to keep the carpets and mats clean looking?

Ummm its my experience that black interior is harder to keep clean than tan interior is. Sure, stains may show up easier on the tan but nearly every little rock, sand, straw, grass, cheerio, snack, french fry, sippy cup, etc.. shows up in the wife's highlander much worse than in my gray interior tundra. My advice, get weathertec's and leather seats and forget about it.

I have a Tan cloth interior on my '01. A lot of the dirt just blends in with the carpet.
