I'm trying to decide between the Nitto Terra Grappler and the General Grabber AT2. I like the looks of the Nitto's the best but I've heard they sometimes tend to wear fast and feel loose. I have not seen as many reviews on the Grabbers but I was told that they use a harder rubeer, therefore they may last longer. Please give me some opinions. Like a lot of people, I mostly drive on roads. Which one will handle the best and last the longest.
Thanks.

Did you just copy and paste this from the other place?

Generally, "handle the best" and "last the longest" are mutually exclusive.

If you mostly drive on roads, get a P-rated all-season highway tire. I suggest Michelin for longevity and quality.

FWIW, I run the LT Nitto Terra Grapplers and love them, on-highway, off-highway, rainy freeways, you name it. I've heard great things about their longevity as well.

I have the Nitto Trail Grapplers...They handle well and seem to be lasting. They are definately flashy tires and kinda pricey...but well worth the price. Compliments come almost every day. Nitto makes very good tires and im a "brand name" kind of guy so General tires to me seem cheap.

Yes, I did. Trying to get as many opinions as possible.

I took the general grabber at2 tires off my truck two weeks ago after getting 32,000 miles out of them:td:. My alignment had been done twice during the time period for needed repairs(ball joints). The tires were rotated every 6 to 9 thousand miles. I was not a fan of them besides the fact that were very good in the snow.

Thanks for the feedback. I've had Toyo M/T's, Toyo A/T's and BFG's. Really liked the ride of the Toyo A/T's but there now $100 more than the Nitto's. I've heard in the past that the Nitto's felt "loose" for a while. Don't know. I would like to get 50,000 miles out of a tire.
Thanks

I got 10k on my Nitto's and wear is great. Excellent on hwy and rain. I hope to get 50k miles out of them.

Someone said that the nitto's are $$$ but I found that they are either on the low side or middle.

Toyos, BFG and Michelin are on the high side... Just my $0.02.

Got at2s and love the ride the nise level and most of all the traction. Way better than my bfg ats I always bought before. Look at the sizing as I am running the 305/50-20 xl load rated tire and the have a 50k mile treadwear warranty on this size and some others

Keep us posted on how they wear. Not too many people have these and it would be good to keep a dialogue of your experience.

Congratz on the new rubber.

I have had the Nitto's for about 3 years now (30000 miles) and I am needing new tires. I drive only on the road/interstate no off roads. I will not be getting them again. They just wear too quickly for my taste. They do look good, very aggressive looking but they just wear too quickly. The ride has been good, but I am really starting to slide around with just a little rain on the ground.

I have P265/70R17 btw.
