So I spent yesterday detailing my truck, it was washed, clayed, polished with Klasse AIO, wax with Duragloss and then I sprayed aquawax on it.

I do have a couple of questions now after my first time using a PC and these products.
1. When I clayed I mixed up some car wash solution to use and sprayed that on then clayed then washed it off. I did this after each section but never really felt any resistance on the paint when doing this it just seemed to glide right over, so I am wondering if I had too much solution on the paint or if I did it incorrectly, I don't feel any rough spots on the finish though.

2. I put on the Klasse AIO and there are a few scratches that I noticed I have that did not come out with it, what would be a next step in getting these out, I tried the white, orange and yellow pad too no avail, they do look better but I know they are still there.

3. After the AIO I used the duragloss 105 then sprayed the aquawax, can I put Klasse glaze/sealant on top of that or would it be a waste of time or should I just put another layer of duragloss?

4. I used a all in one cleaner for the tires but am not happy with them, any recommendations for a good cleaner and to get some of the black back.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

You can try meguiars 105 to get scratches out with a cutting pad. That's worked on every scratch that wasn't into the paint i've used it on.

Feel your paint by ur tailgate and if it's smooth there you are ok. That area usually has the most contaminated paint from the exhaust.

truck came out great. Nice work.

1. No such thing as too much lube with the clay. The clay should glide across smoothly, until it has something to grab and pull out of the paint. You should see the contaminants on the clay when you fold it to a new side. Once youre done, do the baggie test to see if the panels are silky smooth. If you still feel grit through the baggie, then clay the panel again. You dont need to put the soap solution in a bottle, just mix it in the bucket like you were washing the car, then dip the mitt in and suds up a panel.

2. Klasse AIO is a chemical cleaner and has no real abrasives for removing scratches. If you have scratches you'll need to apply a polish with the PC, start with an orange pad. Then once youve removed your scratches, go over it again with Klasse AIO with a white pad to clean the surface and prep it for sealants.

3. At this point, I'd just keep layering the 105 DG.

4. I really like Eagle One A to Z for my wheels and tires.

On tires I use 303 Protectorant. Clean or dirty it makes tires look brand new. It's shiny when first put but dries to a nice patina.
I also use it on all the plastic in/on my truck (sparingly). It protects against the sunlight
UA/UB. It helps keep things from fading.
