I have a 2003 Highlander Limited. Came with the Goodyear Integrity tires. Should I go back with the same or is there a better tire. Recently bought the Highlander in March. When I test drove it about 15 miles, there was no tire noise. The back tires had the look of being driven without enough air in the tires. The dealer replaced the rear tires with two used Kumho's APT Ventures. After the Kumho's were added I noticed the tire noise.

I purchased the new Goodyear Assurance Fuel tires, they ride nice and handle okay. The issue is they have a helicopter noise on some freeways, I already spoke with Goodyear and they opened a case for me to have them inspected.

same question i asked a few years back for my 03 highlander, i was replacing the originals that were wore out at around 40 k (cant remember what brand they were)...came on this forum...Michelin LTX m/s were highly regarded and recommended.. So i went with a set of those. Here i am 46K later, regular rotations and still have lots of tread, Ive been very happy with that purchase!!

I highly recommend the Michelin LTX too. The LTX are our third sets of tires on our brand new 2001 Highlander since 2001 with 160K miles on it. Our 2nd sets of tire were the Mich CrossTerrain and those does run smoother, but bad on the threads for wear and tear. We are running on 3 1/2 yrs on the LTX and still have plenty of threads left before buying new tires for the old '01 HL. New tires or new SUV, which ever comes first..........

Bridgestone Dueler Ht "Alenza" tires on my 2004. Quiet and long wearing. Good value. Been happy so far..
I'm currently running Michelin Latitude Tour tires (about 900 miles on the set). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The HL had Hankook Optimo tires and they were extremely loud.

I recommend Michelin as my preference and specifically recommend the LTX MS2. You will be very happy in any weather including heavy snow. LTX is my preference for any vehicle they fit. I recommend them to friends and family and also have them on 2 vehicles. Folks may have different preferences for other tires but you certainly will not be disappointed.

I put the Michelin Latitude Tour tires on my wife's RX300 2 years ago and still look brand new. Excellent tire.
