WOW, i went into another dealership today.
asked to speak with the T-TECH.
i'm amazed as to what i've been told.

the 05/06 tranny is a sealed unit. therefore no tranny flush.
here is where it gets better.
a grand total of 5 different dealerships. yes 5.
3 dealerships & 2 more on the phone.

1 said 90,000 miles before a flush type 4 fluid.
but not reccom'ed bands out of wack & slipage will accure.

2 said 100,000miles before a WS flush

2 said WS never need to touch the tranny. life time warrenty.

1 told me there is a 100,000mile warrenty

2 said you can't do a flush ever.
why? the tranny isnt made to have this done. it can never be flushed.

the best thing to do is drain & fill ,if that is what you want.

i'm now going to request from the factory:all warrenty & guar. infomation.

I think your best bet is to go right to Toyota for the info, as you mentioned.

As for the two that said lifetime warranty, what did they mean by that? Lifetime warranty on the tranny itself (which I highly doubt)? And what definition of "lifetime" are they using?
