We recently traded in our '07 4-Runner for a '08 Sequoia and love it. Unfortunately for us, it only came with one key fob. I've been hunting around and found some good prices on one (eBay), but would like to know if I can get a key fob with the rear window button like the fob our 4-Runner had. The one fob we have now just has unlock, lock and panic.

Will a 4 button remote (unlock, lock, panic, rear window) like the one I had with our 4-Runner work our rear window on our Sequoia too?

As far as I know you can't operate the rear glass with a remote fob. At least that's the case on my 08 platinum. You can drop or raise the rear glass by turning the rear door key. Similarly you can vent the front door windows or sun roof, or close everythng from the drivers door key but that's it. Could be a neat feature. Enjoy your new wheels!

I have an '08 Limited and the key fob has a button for the rear lift gate but not the window.
