Hey-

My installer is persuading me to get 3 10" JL W3v2's for the box he is building me. I was wondering if you guys had any experience or advice if I should go with these.

Remember, Im limited to what subs I can get because I need something with a very low mounting depth. Thanks.

That is the sub that comes in the stealthbox. Well at least the newer stealthboxes. The older ones had the regular 10w3. I'm happy with my single 10w3v2 in my stealhbox. Enough bass for me. I think they have good SQ and they bump pretty well too. You heard my sub, so I guess you can use that as a gauge. From what Tweeky said a while back when he switched form that sub to an Infinity Perfect they were very close in SQ and bumped just about as much.

Sounds like you got a pretty cool setup going. How are they going to work that? Who is your installer?

I have a 10w3v2 underneat my rear seat in a custom box. I'm a total audiophile and I think it sounds great. It has good tight bass response for my listening pleasure (when I listen to punk/hard/heavy rock type of stuff) and it makes my insides shake when I put in music with a lot of bass (rap/trance stuff). I have a JL250/1 powering it and I believe it is a great combo. Just get it, you will be happy.

WD-40,

I guess you already know the installer and the box in the other thread but the seats are going to be cut open at the bottom and the cone of the subs will be facing the roof. They will be down firing towards the ground. Im going to run a DHD 1000w mono amp with it.
