View Full Version : Are 15" wheels possible (w/1.25" spacers) on a 2000 Tundra AC 4WD?

I was rotating my tires & thought I'd see if I could fit a 15x10 Alcoa M/T Challenger on the front. Looks like if I ground off those 2 humps on the caliper (non-upgrade, w/the "wing" pointing towards the hub) they may just clear. There's not a whole lot of clearance on the front calipers of my heirloom '72 K/5 with these wheels, so a little must be enough, as long as wheel bearings are OK. I'm not really planning on running them, but then again the K/5's last set of 33x12.50s rotted off after 16 years, with maybe 10-12k on them, so I'd kinda rather wear 'em out if it looks like that's gonna happen again. I bought my '00 last Nov. w/18x9s & the spacers already on it (necessary in the front to clear the 9" wide wheels). Thanks in advance to anyone who has done this & is willing to share their experience.
