I have 2008 Crewmax that I tow (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/#) my travel trailer with. Most travel trailers and 5th wheels trailers have a large flat or semi-sloped front end the equates towing a giant wall. I there such thing a removable air foil to cut the wind drag that can be easily placed on top of my Tundra? Possibly suction cups and tie-downs?

Is there such a thing?
Has anyone had any experience with them?
Is it worth my time and effort?

thanks in advance

They do make air foils but in my opinion they don't work.

I agree! We tow at 55mph sometimes 60 and I don't think they are effective at those speeds.

I've seen lots of such things on pickups... and *every* rig has one. They actually *do* make a difference, but also don't neglect the shape of the BACK, which can also make a difference. If you can put a big cone on the back of the trailer, that will also improve the aerodynamics.

I don't know the answer to your question, therefore I will postulate.

For a travel trailer, I don't think this would help at all. Too much separation between the arifoil and the trailer. If it were really tall and was able to direct the airflow over the top of the trailer, you might see some benefit. I have seen these for 5ers, I have not seen anyone use one for a travel trailer.
