Today my 4 cyl 2009 Camry displayed CEL, VSC and traction control lights (all solid) after starting it up and driving it about 50 feet. I pulled it back into the drive, turned it off and restarted it. The CEL remained on.
I pulled the codes and had a P2401 (evaporative emission system leak down detection pump control circuit low). I recorded the data and cleared the code out (since it is out of warranty). I drove it the rest of the day without any other CEL issues.
I am taking the Tundra in next week for service, so I will inqiure. Anyone ever deal with this or have any input? I am wondering if this is a CEL fluke or potentially a bigger issue.
It was a cold start on a near 90 degree day. The car has about 34,000 miles on it, though my in service date passed about two months ago. The car has been idling a little rough, so I recently filled up with 89 octane gas since I figured the summer blend gas was causing that issue (10% ethenol). I have always used 87 octane since I bought it with no issues.
