Hello,

I am in need of some help. A buddy of mine has a 2011 Tacoma with stock 365/65 R1717 tires and wants to get his truck lifted with some newer tires. I am looking to buy his stock tires for my 04 tundra with my 17s. What would be a fair value to offer for the tires? They have about 9000 miles on them.

Would it even be worth buying the tires off of him? I am currently running some terra grapplers and I don't like the feel of all terrain and want to just go back to all weather. I do no off roading and don't plan on it.

Thanks,

Keith

You can pick up factory take off tires on craigslist for next to nothing. If he's a good friend, he should be happy to sell them to you for a couple hundred bucks.

OMG! Run away as fast as you can from those Dunlops! I suffered through two winters on my stock grandtrek at20's before I finally had enough. They were absolutely the worst tires I have ever owned. I wouldn't take them back if they were free!
