Hey guys, I know you've all probably seen a thousand of these posts, but here is one more. I just got a 2001 Tundra 4x4 and need to get the PO's retreads off asap. I would like to use the truck for some simple four wheeling next year and will probably get some proper tires on another set of rims when that happens.
For now I've picked out a set of 285/75-16 Yokohama Geolander AT's. First question, will those work on the truck without insane rubbing on it's stock suspension? If not, then then I'm contemplating the Toytec Bilstein Ultimate (http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=58845&category_id=133&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=72). Those tires should fit with that lift, correct?
One other thing, I would like to space the tires out just a bit for cosmetic reasons with something like a Spidertrax spacer, but will that much outward movement tear my fenders up?
Sorry for all of the newb questions, this is my first truck. Thanks for any and all feedback!
