I bit the bullet and picked up an '05 Matirx for daily driving. The '00 AC Tundra is just costing too much for the daily stuff. Unfortunatly, the Matrix sound from single disk head unit really sucks. It looks to be the same unit as came in the Tundra. I swapped the tundra unit out for one of the Pioneer built Scion 6 disk units. A couple of questions- are wiring harnesses still universal within Toyota/Scion? If so, is there a direct swap factory unit out there that would be better and still cheap, or am I better of spending $150 at Crutchfield? I'd really like a direct Aux connection, and Bluetooth, as well as acceptable sound.
