Hello guys and gals,

Need some advise from the experts, and that's you guys:

I own a 96 SR5 Tacoma, V-6, 4x4, I have 94K on it and have owned it since day one, my issue is the timing belt, do I break down and replace it?

At the dealer, was quoted $1100 without the tension bearing, $1400 with replacing both. Includes water pump and everything else.

I have no issues at all with the truck, just figured I would get it done, my question is "if its not broke, why fix it".

Any advise would be helpful, and yes I searched, and that adds to the issue, some say do it, others say push it.:confused:
