Changed right front axle assembly and now have leak where axle goes into diff. Pulled axle back out and seal seems to be fine. dust cover also replaced and is in properly. I think I need to change seal but don't know how it comes out. Any info from someone that has done this.

You should be able to use a cheap oil seal removal tool (just a metal hook/prybar) available at any auto parts place. The PDF attached shows the removal using an SST, but it's not necessary. Place the seal back in place by carefully tapping a block of wood or a large socket with a hammer.

These seals will dry up from the heat of the engine/diff, and as soon as oil hits them they shrink and ruin the seal. They may look fine, but the diameter has changed, and they'll leak.

Good luck, should be an easy fix. :tu:
