Best option is a WDH because it cures the disease, not just treat the symptoms.

WDH: distributes the weight to all axles. This helps keep the front axle loaded properly (for braking, steering and keeping the headlights pointed level). Typically, you will see no change to a slight increase in weight on the front axles, 70% of the hitch weight on the rear axles and 25% of the hitch weight will be distributed back to the trailer axles. A WDH usually has integrated sway control as well.

Airbags: All they do is level your truck. It looks nice and the headlights don't point to the sky, but the front axles are still unloaded. As an example, if you attach a trailer with 900 lbs hitch weight, the front truck axle will have 300 less weight on it and the rear axle will have 1200 lbs more weight on it. Teeter totter effect. This could be unsafe.

Helper Springs: Same as airbags.

Of note, the helper springs and airbags are very useful for towing a fifth wheel trailer. In that case, the main load is directly over or just slightly forward of the rear axle. Adding airbags and/or helper springs to that setup would be a good idea to fix sag. This is also true when carrying heavy loads in the bed itself.

Also, what does the trailer weigh when loaded? 28 ft enclosed trailer can hold a lot of stuff.

Yes it will correct the sag issue. Once the WDH is adjusted properly, the truck will squat 1" - 1.5" at the rear. The front of the truck should remain unchanged, height wise.

The two that consistently get recommended are:

1. Equal-i-zer. I would get the 10,000 lbs model with 1,000 lbs bars
2. Reese Daul Cam. Get the 1,200 lbs bars

Your choice. Both are equally effective, easy to use and about the same price.
