Well it has been some time since I have posted on this forum about this ongoing epic project. As many of you know life happens and hobbies get put off if not completely swept under the carpet. Building a competition rock buggy from the ground up (tube frame chassis takes 100's of hours of not only labor but also brainstorming on where to start and what to do next. Taking nothing and creating something is not a simple task and if I was to do it over again I would have saved my duckets and bought a pre-built rig from a reputable fabricator. However, I am also the type of person that has to finish what he has started. This project is something that has been in the making for almost three years. since then I have had the emotional up's and down's of scrapping the project or just going for it. I also now have a 1 year old daughter that means the world to me. My job alows me tons of time of which is given entirely to that little girl. Because of the major desire to see this project through but the lack of time, I have decided to take my project to Rockware motorsports in Colorado Springs.

Enter the 2003 Tundra Comp Buggy build:

I found a guy to build my chassis in SLC,UT. He was building a buggy of his own and I liked his front end so I just had him make another chassis like his except I knew I wanted a "fastback" style with room to stuff a V8.
This is what it his car looked like:

Thanks to my understanding wife I was able to load up the buggy and take it to Matt at Rockware so that he can help get me closer to my goal Here are some pics of the work that he has done so far:
