Have '05 Taco with pro-comp lift, oversize tires. Severe "rut" wander; diagnosed that mounting bushings need replaced. Toyota doesn't sell just the bushings, must buy entire rack with bushings installed to fix. Toyota dealers say - "assembly and dis-assembly to difficult" parts not available separately. Cost $1100.00. Have found bushing kits for '04's for $25.00 (I know the body/remake change in '05).
Anyone know of a source or a fix other than BIG $$$$ ?

Check Wheeler's Off-road for poly rack bushings. I don't know if they have them for Tacos or not, but its worth a shot.

I got my Energy Suspension ones from Wheelers because I wanted black instead of red. I'm happy with them.

what were the symptoms you were experiencing? did they have the bushings at Wheelers?
