Hi Fellows,
Need help with a couple of questions regarding the install of the AVH-3300 in a 2011 DC. Had a Clarion CX501 in for a few weeks but it lost the RR channel so this will be an upgrade with more features.

1. Is there anyway to do the auto eq microphone with the parking brake overide relay installed?

2. I recently put in the overhead back up monitor that plugs into the harness. I notice a yellow rca. Is this video out or in? If out, would an rca ran down the a pillar work with the hu?

Thread Update

1. Figured out a work around on the bypass relay and auto eq. The solution is to install a toggle on the blue remote turn on wire and interrupt power before using the source off function which enables the auto eq menu. I decided to wire the unit as recommended and left the relay out in order to avoid more stuff behind the HU and mounting a toggle switch.
Really disappointed in the auto eq. The mid-range was boosted too high and there are no adjustments(that I can find) after it is set. Tuning by ear sounds much better.
2. No info on the Rostra overhead console monitor RCA's. Should have tested to see if they were signal inputs versus outputs but was ready to get the truck back together. May be a winter project.
