I have a 2009 4-door TRD truck that has DRL. The bulbs have started to melt and crack the lenses. Has anyone else have this problem? I think this may be a defect but was wanting some input before I approach the dealer.

i have seen several post on other tacoma forums ,and usually after doing the DTL mod

might pull a bulb and go to the auto store and try and find a lower wattage bulb ( less heat) ?

if from the factory, yep i would let them know as those headlights are expensive!

That sucks. I would take it to the dealer and have them warranty the parts as long as there is a valid warranty.
