I have 05 Sequoia with JBL speakers and Alpine stereo system. Last Monday morning, I had no audio output. There is a beeping sound comes out from front door driver side speaker. I talked to a car audio shop and they said maybe factory amp blown. If I replace the speaker will the system work again.

Do you have aftermarket parts are is it all stock? Basically it's like any mechanical failure, you try the easiest stuff first. I would look at the said speaker to make sure it's connected properly then I would look at replacing the stock speakers (if they are stock)...you can get a new set of coax's for less than $50 (not high quality but better than stock). There may be someone on here that is familiar with this problem specifically who can help. If it is your stock amp, you are looking at a big deal to either replace it or replace the whole system with aftermarket (which would be much better sounding).

the speakers come with the car when I bought it. I believe they are stock. I am thinking about replace it myself
with stock JBL. I heard they stop making JBL with active amp like the ones in my car. I may have to buy from the dealer or ebay. Need to get model number first when remove the speaker from the door. Thanks
