Hey I will be doing an install in a couple weeks trying to gauge whether I should post it here.. this will be a bass heavy install but its not strictly that..
2010 tundra Crewmax
system consists of:
Pioneer z120bt
ID Xs 65s running off a dsc 4150 bridged
(maybe)earthquake tw35s in the dash of a o/s rockford 50.2(haven't set these in stone)
4 Sa-8s off a Sundown Saz-3000 will be at 2ohms until I break them in then dropping to .5 ohms + imp rise should be seeing .6-1ohm
deadener
plenty of 1/0 throughout
several batteries depends on what size I end up with..
I will pretty much be tearing the whole inside apart so If anyone needs pictures of this or that let me know and I will try to remember to get some.. If anyone has taken the headliner down on these if you could message me that would be awesome I need to get deadener on the roof..
everything is purchased minus the batteries, 1/0, and the dash tweeters..

I like to see as many builds as possible...wondering why you would need "several batteries"? I have had some very large systems in the past (including 4 15" subs) and have only ever needed 1 extra battery and a capacitor and that was in a much smaller vehicle than the Tundra.

I should be starting the following weekend.. I am ready for this weekend but its xmas so its family time as much as the truck is my baby lol..
what kind of ACTUAL power did you have? I will be running 4k+ ACTUAL RMS not if lightning strikes power.. My last car was 3k+ with 2 additional batteries.. I like to keep the vehicle running off the stock battery and keep the system on separate batts.. I go to shows and will play with the vehicle either idling or off so battery banks are great..

Keep us posted. Depending on what package your truck has, it may already have a 140A alternator. I'm running a true 1800 Watt RMS system in my Tundra off the stock charging system and don't have any issues whatsoever. Granted all my amps are Class-D.
Good luck!

I am not expecting much.. I will be keeping this behind the rear seats in the CM.. I am hoping for low-mid 140s I am tuning low as I like a ground pounder not a swarm of bees tuned for competing.. My car did 143.xx at 28hz up to 32hz.. it dropped off hard after that about 140s in the 40hz plus range.. I listen to a lot of customized music.. Very lightly slowed down enhanced cleaned up etc..

as far as I was aware its a 150a alt that comes with the tow package.. could be wrong.. 1800 is pretty good we also have a decent sized front batt.. my last car had a 100a and handled 1200-1500 and would really dim down until I upgraded so I am hoping this one is all good..
Side note.. anyone experience with any full range 3 1/4s on their dash.. I looked at a couple dayton rs models and some tang band stuff.. I am not set on the extra tweeters up there just yet.. I may do a second set of XS 65s in the door and throw the other tweeter in the dash idk..
