I'm currently swapping out the oem stereo headunit with an Alpine 900 BT.

The stock antenna doesn't quite fit into the aftermarket headunit.

Can I modify the stock antenna? Or do I need to install the new antenna?

I wanted to try to use the stock one, to save time, and avoid replacing the existing unit.
