Used my PC for the first time today, though I've had it for a few months now. My boss side swiped his garage pillar with his Tundra. The scratches were pretty deep, my fingernail catches in em. I gave it a shot with the PC, Ultimate Compound, and Ultimate Polish. The PC7424XP vibrates intensely, is this normal? My hands were about to fall off and got tired so quick. Anyways heres the before and after, you guys think more can be done, or are they just too deep to remove?

If your fingernail is catching the scratches I'd say it's too much to tackle with the setup you're using. I use the Meguiar's 105 and 205 and it says it will remove up to 1200 grit or finer sanding marks. As for the handling of the Porter Cable, sounds like you may have had it on too high a speed with too little pressure.

PS It looks better than before you started.

Those scratches definitely look too serious to remove with a pc, but as was stated above, if your fingernail catches them it's probably a no go. I must agree that it does look much better though.
As for the vibration, the only thing I can think of is make sure your pad is centered on the backing plate and you do have your counterweight installed right?

I don't think the proper tool to be using is the Porter Cable. I think you need a Sawzall to widen the friggin garage for the guy.

That picture looks like paint transfer. That usually comes right out.
