Anyone running the OME 884 or 885 coils with Biilstein 5100s? Seems like this combo is doable with the Bils set at 0". Just looking for some feedback regarding this setup. How much lift? I know 884 are supposed to provide about an 1".

I was reading a build thread on another websites forum last night. A guy put OME 886 on 5100s set at 0" and it gave him 4" of lift. He said it greatly improved the ride quality. Hope this helps!

I read the same. The 886 coils are the heavy-duty and are much too firm for my application. I'd prefer to use the 885 coils, but am just unsure as to what I can expect in lift.

What's the weight, length, and spring rate difference between the two coils?

I'd like to find that information but I'm having difficulties.

Actually - finally found the spring rate info:

OME884 390mm, 590lbs/in
OME885 395mm, 590lbs/in

Doesn't look like much difference... same sprung weight, just a little longer.

I'm just wondering what type of lift I can anticipate from either of these coils vs. stock (non-TRD) springs.
