I have a 2005 Sequoia SR5 4WD which I understand was the first year that Toyota went from the 4 speed to the 5 speed automatic. Because mine was a basic SR5 model I added the tow package (hitch, wiring and most recently a brake controller). So far this vehicle has been par for the course for Toyota, VERY RELIABLE. I do plan on keeping it for a few more years, but my question is, has anyone experienced any drivetrain problems as their vehicle has aged, especially those of you who do any towing? The heaviest trailer I tow on a regular basis is an 18' toy hauler which when fully loaded is probably right at my rated capacity of 6,200 lbs. So far, no problems, but I have only taken 3 trips with it so far and it seems to do fine.
