I am moving down from 20's to 18's (would prefer 17's but not sure how those would fit over the huge brakes?) and have decided I will be getting 285/75r18s. Having to modify the truck to make them fit doesn't really bother me. My question is what offset should I be aiming for while looking for wheels so that my tires will be sticking out just a little but won't cause me to have to make too many modifications to prevent rubbing?

Also, I do not have a lift/leveling kit but am looking into getting one soon.

How much of your tire would you like to be sticking out?

Are you OK with removing your mud flaps?

I would have liked to go negative on the offset BUT I went the easy way and ordered Jesters. They will be here this week :)
