My 01 Sequoia has check engine light on. Auto Zone said it was shift solenoid. I have replaced trans filter and fluid, but no change. The transmission is slow to go into drive or reverse and sometimes slips out of reverse or drive when stopped or near stop. I had to overfill with fluid to get it to move at all after the filter/fluid change. It shifts fine when driving except occasional rough shift to/from OD.
Have read some threads and think I need to change one of the shift solenoids, or valve body/s. I have good mechanical skills and experience on other engines.
Can anyone offer advice.
